SOUNDING BOARD

Real Estate can be confusing, intimidating, an absolute maze. Independent help is hard to find. Congratulations, you have made it to the right place to get your questions answered.

WHAT IS A SOUNDING BOARD?

It’s not a commitment, it’s not expensive, it’s not real estate fluff. A Sounding Board is a conversation, no frills, ad hoc (as you need), prepaid. A chat with an independent, experienced, real estate expert

A sounding board is being able to run an idea, a problem, an opinion, bouncing concepts off an experienced, knowledgeable, independent real estate agent. Gaining feedback, fresh perspectives, an indication of your ideas having merit, are they practical, getting clarity before you act

The benefit of hindsight, reviewing your answer to a previous conversation, and coming up with a better response. We all do it. The problem with hindsight in real estate is the better response is often too late, the price has been negotiated, the terms set, and the contract signed, perhaps the house missed out on. A Sounding Board gives you clarity, the opportunity to have the conversations, to sound things out, try the responses, and see the scenarios BEFORE you need them

A Sounding Board is created for the inexperienced, the buyer or seller who has never bought (or sold), or it was a long time ago, or when you had a partner to run things by, to discuss, or just when you want some clarity about a real estate decision that you have to make.
Home Buyers, Home Sellers, those thinking about real estate who are inexperienced, lack confidence, real estate skills, who want the information before preceding, who lack time to do the research themselves

Up to 45 minutes of conversation that gives you clarity, a path, a solution, confirmation, consideration, compassion

Sounding board sessions are prepaid by credit card or direct transfer when you book your session

A Sounding Board session is usually available within 24 hours, if a more urgent appointment is required then it depends on time availability however, we can usually work something out so you can get on your way with your real estate decisions sorted

Sounding Boards are booked as needed. If you decide that you need more help, more often, then we can upgrade you to our advocacy path. There are 3 choices of advocacy,

A SOUNDING BOARD Story

The Story of Jack and Dianne

Making the move away from the City, to singledom, to coupledom and hopefully soon to family dom, was the dream of Jack and Dianne. They wanted their children brought up in a community that was still commutable to Melbourne if they wanted to hang with old friends, get to the MCG, and all the life that had been their everyday.

Knowing where to buy, where not to buy, what to look out for, how to keep on track with their criteria, they knew they needed help.

They only wanted the occasional guidance session, they had navigated the purchase of their current home successfully, they wanted someone who knew the Dandenong Ranges.

Jack and Dianne booked a few SOUNDING BOARD sessions until they found the home perfect for the continuation of their dream

  • new area
  • familiar as a weekend stay
  • wary of buying the wrong home
  • wary of paying too much
  • We are so happy, thank you!

We know the Dandenong Ranges as a place to take a break on the weekends, Carol was working for us when we needed, advising us. It took a few calls but we are so happy with our new home in the Hills.
